When planning your stay in Cooperstown, I highly recommend opting for a lakefront vacation rental to fully experience the natural beauty of Otsego Lake. A perfect option is the Lady of the Lake, a charming and renovated 3-bedroom cottage built in 1902, located just six miles north of Cooperstown. With its private dock, cozy fireplaces, and stunning lake views from nearly every room, this property offers the ultimate lakeside retreat. Whether you’re looking to relax or explore, this picturesque rental makes an ideal home base for your getaway.

On Saturdays check out the Cooperstown Farmers Market for delicious fresh eats and a variety of locally made artisan goods!

Cooperstown is home to a variety of fantastic spots for craft beverages, starting with the historic Fly Creek Cider Mill. Just a short drive from town, this family-owned gem has been producing fresh, locally made cider for generations. Visitors can tour the water-powered cider mill, taste freshly pressed cider, and enjoy a variety of other local products, including wines, cheeses, and baked goods. The scenic setting and rich history make it a must-visit for anyone exploring Cooperstown. Be sure to try a slice of their fresh Apple Pie before you leave!
